Makeup Brush Cleaning Guide

We have sourced some of the best brushes for the application of our products and want you to be informed of how to keep them clean and in great shape to last as long as they can.   We suggest using a natural liquid soap such as a castile soap to clean them every few weeks or any time you drop them or have any skin issue arise.  We recommend never sharing brushes with anyone else. While cleaning, make sure not to allow any water to get inside the shiny silver band that attaches the bristles to the handle.  Holding the brush with the bristles down, wet the bristles only.  Place a small amount of castile soap in the palm of your hand and swirl the brush gently in the soap until it is foamy and the soap turns colorful from the makeup. Rinse and repeat this a few times if necessary until the soap remains white in color and the water runs clear over the brush when rinsed.  Reshape the brush gently with your hands and lay the handle on a flat surface with the bristles overhanging to air dry.  We cannot stress enough that you need to keep the water out from under the shiny band as this will loosen the glue that holds your bristles in place.
